We’re having lots of fun in Florida again this year… The weather is a bit cooler and wetter than last year, but we’re making the most of it, and hitting the pool when the heat peaks. If it’s raining, we just plan more indoor events to keep everybody busy…
We’ve been having a lot of fun with the kids and the Jack in the Box toy… The kids’ faces are absolutely in shock when the sock monkey explodes out of the box. Colin’s Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone’ face is priceless. The video is pretty much required for this…
Christmas morning video
Here’s a quick little video I threw together of some of this morning’s activities. It’s mostly of the kids opening a few of their presents from Grandpa and Grandma Young who missed out on another Christmas with the kids.
Breakfast with Santa
We visited Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest to join Santa for breakfast and explore his forest which has coloured trees, hay rides around the forest behind a tractor, a petting zoo, horse rides, a massive balloon to jump on, and of course, a visit with Santa where he gave them a gift. They’ve seen more Santa’s in the last few days than we’re able to give an explanation about, but luckily they’re just jumping on his lap and gently whispering what they want—”new lego”.
